David Gunnell Joins Scanco Software as VP of Product Development

Sarasota, Fla. – April 28, 2022 Scanco Software is excited to announce the hiring of Sage veteran, David Gunnell, as VP of Product Development. David will be taking over for Steve Reis who will be staying on to focus on our core product development projects. David will use his vast experience of managing on-shore and off-shore teams, leadership skills, and unique insights to lead Scanco’s many software initiatives. Scanco will also tap into his strategic vision and his deep industry knowledge for our roadmap.

With over 35 years leading and developing large-scale commercial and IT software systems with an emphasis in Microsoft .NET and Windows Azure client/server and cloud architectures, David had proven results directing global R&D technical teams consisting of software engineers, quality assurance, and requirements analysts. He has full software development life cycle know-how in several software systems, including SCRUM Agile development. David spent over 15 years with Sage Software as their VP of Research and Development – SSG Business Unit.
